Tuition:

Tuition is billed on a monthly basis--not per lesson.  It is your responsibility to make a commitment to your course of study at BGS, just as it is my responsibility to find and maintain a lesson slot for you here.

Tuition rates are as follows:

Beginning guitar:  Full Time is $100, Half-Time is $50.

Advanced/Classical/Other Specialties:  Full Time is $120, Half Time is $60.

Tuition will be due every month on the 1st of each month.  Invoices will be mailed to you and remittance can either be made by mail, online, or you can drop your tuition check at the mailbox at 28 Avenue B in Billings.  If your tuition is not paid by either your first session (or the 5th of the month; whichever is earlier), your classes will be cancelled and your time slot will be open to other students.

What Makes BGS Different?

The chief aim of Banuelos Guitar Studios is to provide a professional-quality lesson plan focused on helping you succeed as an instrumentalist and as an artist.  BGS is a small studio with one instructor.  This mode of operation allows for greater attention and focus.  At BGS, you aren’t just another time slot.  You are a valued member of the studio and the musical community.

To enroll at either BGS location, please click Enrollment Form.pdf or call for our short application form, and we’ll get right to work on scheduling a slot for you.  Even though our classes do have estimated lengths, they are done under no obligation-- no contracts are signed.

How do you assign your lesson slots?

Lesson slots are offered by seniority.  Students who have been with BGS the longest will have first option on open slots once those slots are vacated.

What if I don’t have a very good instrument?

Your instrument should be easy for you to play at the very least.  You can take advantage of a free consultation to see if we can make your instrument easier on your hands, or...

Do you have a guitar for rent?

Yes.  In Billings, we have a custom Blueridge BR-143 that rents for $30 per month.  A refundable deposit is required to rent the guitar, and the rental fee includes regular playability check-ups.
